Former England international Jonny Wilkinson has signed a new one-year contract with French outfit Toulon.
The 33-year-old, who made 91 appearances for his country, joined Toulon from Newcastle Falcons in 2009.
It had been suggested that Wilkinson would return to England when his contact expired at the end of the season, but he has now quelled such speculation by agreeing a new one-year deal.
Despite announcing his retirement from international duty in 2011, it is understood that the fly-half is keen to join up with the British and Irish Lions for the summer tour of Australia.
