Dominic Thiem has powered to victory over Alexander Zverev to reach the French Open semi-finals for a third successive year.
Thiem has never advanced beyond the last 16 of a Major other than at Roland Garros, but the Austrian remains in the hunt for a first Grand Slam crown with a 6-4 6-2 6-1 triumph over Zverev.

The 24-year-old's chances were undoubtedly enhanced due to Zverev having come through three five-set matches at this year's tournament, but the seventh seed conceded just seven games to the world number three.
One break of serve was enough for Thiem to edge a competitive opening set and as the match progressed, Zverev made more unforced errors to hand his opponent all of the momentum.
Zverev fought hard during the final game to keep the contest alive, but Thiem eventually wrapped up the win in one hour and 50 minutes.
