Two-time Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka booked her place in the final of the Rome International thanks to a 6-0 7-5 victory over Sara Errani this afternoon.
Azarenka started brightly and won the first four games before rain forced the two players off the court in the Italian capital.
When they returned a short while after, the world number three quickly wrapped up the opening set with a bagel.
The second set was much more evenly contested, but Azarenka claimed a vital break while leading 6-5 to advance through to tomorrow's final, where she will take on world number one Serena Williams.
