Novak Djokovic has said that Wimbledon is one of his favourite Grand Slam tournaments due to the "beautiful" surrounding area of SW19.
The world number one, who brushed aside Jeremy Chardy in straight sets on Saturday, reveals that he likes the serenity afforded to him by the natural environment of where the competition is held.
"Obviously, there is a huge amount of pressure and stress and everything involved, so you need to have a place where you know you can switch off and recharge your batteries," The Telegraph quotes Djokovic as saying.
"We like Wimbledon and London in general because there are so many beautiful parks and nature, places which you can call getaways during these two weeks of a hectic Grand Slam atmosphere.
"But I just can say that it's a very calm and very beautiful environment where I like to spend time."
Djokovic, who has yet to drop a set at this year's Wimbledon, will face Tommy Haas in the next round.
