Vesna Dolonc has knocked 16th seed Jelena Jankovic out of Wimbledon, beating her 7-5 6-2 in the second round.
The two Serbians were well matched in the opening set but Dolonc managed to edge a break ahead, with the former world number one losing her focus on serve towards the end of the first set.
Jankovic continued to struggle on her service games in the second set, giving her compatriot an early lead.
The 16th seed forced her opponent to face four break points but was unable to convert any of them, with Dolonc managing to keep her deliveries powerful and accurate during the crucial moments.
Dolonc was able to get another break late in the set to secure her progress to the third round, where she will play Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens.
