Arsenal have been charged by the Football Association for allegedly breaking football agents regulations in relation to the signing of Calum Chambers.
On July 26 last year, the North London outfit completed the transfer of Chambers from Southampton for an undisclosed fee, which reports claim rose to £16m with add-ons.
It has now been announced by the FA that Arsenal could face punishment if found guilty of breaching agent rules, while football agent Alan Middleton has also been charged for his role in the transfer.
The English governing body has given Middleton until June 17 to respond to the charge, while Arsenal must give their response by June 26 after the FA approved the club's request for more time.
