Mathieu Flamini: 'Arsenal feel invincible'

Mathieu Flamini says that Arsenal feel invincible at the moment but stresses the importance of focus for the remainder of the campaign.

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has revealed that the team feel unbeatable following their third successive victory in all competitions on Saturday.

The Frenchman smashed home his side's second goal of the afternoon, before Aaron Ramsey completed his brace against his former club in the dying stages as the Gunners established a seven-point lead at the summit of the Premier League table with a 3-0 win at Cardiff City.

"Yes," Flamini told Sky Sports News when asked if he and his teammates feel unbeatable at the moment.

"Everything is going well. We started the first part of the championship with a lot of consistency and good victories.

"But it is only the beginning. We have to remain focused and continue to work hard and hopefully we can keep it that way."

The North London side overcame Southampton 2-0 last weekend, before cruising past Marseille by the same scoreline in the Champions League in midweek.

Arsenal host Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, before welcoming Roberto Martinez's Everton to the English capital four days later.
