Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah is reportedly attracting interest from a Premier League club after seeing a potential move to Marseille fall through.

Bournemouth are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

The 25-year-old appears to be heading towards a summer exit after struggling to gain regular playing time last season.

Nketiah had to settle for 10 starts in 27 Premier League appearances last term, mustering five goals and two assists for Mikel Arteta's side.

The Arsenal academy product is behind Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz in the pecking order and is now looking to gain regular game time elsewhere.

Arsenal are open to selling Nketiah before the transfer deadline, and they recently held talks with Marseille over a potential move.

Bournemouth considering Nketiah move

Nketiah was believed to be open to the prospect of joining the French club, who are looking to sign a replacement for ex-Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

However, Marseille were unwilling to meet Arsenal's reported £30m asking price and have now turned their focus to signing Lens attacker Elye Wahi.

While a move to France may be off the cards, Nketiah could complete a switch to another Premier League club before the transfer window shuts on August 30.

According to the Evening Standard, Bournemouth are showing an interest in Nketiah and have added the Arsenal man to their shortlist of striker targets.

Crystal Palace have also been linked with Nketiah in the past and it remains to be seen whether they make an effort to sign him before the transfer deadline.

Bournemouth searching for Solanke replacement

Andoni Iraola's side are considering Nketiah as a potential option to replace Dominic Solanke, who recently completed a £65m transfer to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Solanke will leave a significant void in the Bournemouth squad after netting 19 goals in 38 Premier League matches last term.

With Enes Unal currently sidelined through injury, Bournemouth are set to begin the new season with Daniel Jebbison as their only fit centre-forward.

In addition to Nketiah, the Cherries are also said to be admirers of Porto striker Evanilson, who has scored 60 goals in 154 appearances for the Portuguese side.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth have already suffered a setback in their pursuit of the Brazilian forward, having seen their initial bid turned down by Porto.

The Portuguese giants recently turned down another proposal from Nottingham Forest, who have also identified Evanilson as a possible target.
