Arsene Wenger targets win over Norwich City

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger calls on his players to finish their Premier League season strongly with a victory over Norwich City on Sunday.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has called on his players to finish their Premier League season strongly with a victory over Norwich City on Sunday.

The Gunners are assured of finishing fourth in the table this season, but Wenger is keen for his side to go into next weekend's FA Cup final against Hull City full of confidence.

"We go there to try to win the game," he told Arsenal's official website. "We want to finish on a high, we want to get 79 points and make it as tight as possible at the top.

"If you get to that level it shows you're ready to fight for the title again. From that basis we want to build on for next season and get over 80.

"Also, in preparing for the FA Cup final, it's important to feel that you play well in the game before."

Arsenal's fourth-place finish means that they have qualified for the Champions League for each of the last 17 seasons.
