Mainz 05 striker Adam Szalai has played down reports linking him with a move to Arsenal during the current transfer window.
The Gunners were reportedly interested in signing the Hungarian international earlier this month, with Arsene Wenger looking to bolster his attacking options.
However, the former Real Madrid youth player has denied any talks between the two clubs, and insists that he will remain with the German outfit.
"There hasn't been any connection made with the clubs who have been reported in the press, so I don't have to think about being an Arsenal striker," Szalai told German TV.
"It's improbable that I'll go anywhere in the winter transfer window and that €15m (£12.6m) will be paid for me."
Slzalai has nine goals for Mainz so far this season.
