Arsenal have reportedly been dealt a blow in their efforts to sign Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette both being linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners need to consider alternatives in the final third.
That has allegedly resulted in Vlahovic, who has contributed 15 goals in 17 Serie A outings this season, being identified as Arsenal's first-choice replacement.
However, according to Eurosport, the Serbia international will not give serious thought to making the move to North London next month.
As well as wanting to sign to a team who is guaranteed Champions League football, the 21-year-old would prefer to see out the campaign in Florence.
His club are open to all options with Vlahovic having just over 18 months remaining on his contract and with no intention of penning fresh terms.
