Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has played down reports that the club will try to sign Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old has scored 17 goals and made 11 assists in all competitions this season, which could end with the Foxes as Premier League champions as they have a five-point lead with four games left to play.
Earlier this year it was reported that the Gunners are planning a summer move for the winger, but Wenger has refuted the claims.
During Wednesday's press conference, when asked if the club were interested in Mahrez, Wenger told reporters: "No, even if it was I wouldn't talk about it this stage of the season."
Arsenal's £11m acquisition of goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea was their only piece of transfer business last summer.
