Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits that both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez could potentially leave the Emirates Stadium during the January transfer window.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has acknowledged that the club may consider selling both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez during the January transfer window.

The star duo have less than a year remaining on their deals at the Emirates Stadium, and Wenger has previously insisted that the pair would see out the rest of their contracts.

However, the manager has revealed that parting ways with one or both of the playmakers at the start of 2018 remains an option, with January representing the final time in which the North Londoners could recoup a fee for either player.

The Frenchman told reporters: "In our situation, we have envisaged every solution. It is possible."

Earlier in his press conference ahead of the trip to Watford, Wenger had suggested that negotiations were progressing over a fresh deal for Ozil.
