Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres has admitted that he is desperate to lift a top-flight domestic league title for the first time in his career.
Torres challenged for the Premier League with Liverpool and Chelsea before returning to Atletico for his second spell last season, and he is hopeful of bringing an unwanted record to an end with his boyhood club.
"There are still trophies for me to win. For example, I'm missing a league title. I have never won one and it would be very special to win it with Atletico," he told reporters.
"You've always got to go for everything. I'd give my life and everything I have to win that.
"I want to go on winning, I feel great and full of enthusiasm for playing at the top level. I still have many years left to play and I want to enjoy them here at Atleti."
Torres has scored six goals in 26 appearances since re-joining Atletico in January.
