Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup feels that Neymar still has a lot to prove ahead of his move to Barcelona.

The Brazil international forged a reputation as one of the game's most exciting players during his time at Santos, but Laudrup, who played for Barca from 1989 to 1994, feels that the forward must be ready to adapt to playing for one of European football's biggest sides.

"Until now he has been a great player in South America, but we all know that it is a completely different type of game playing in Europe," Laudrup told Goal.com.

"Everyone is looking forward to seeing him in Europe at the highest level, but I'm not sure whether his small size will be a factor.

"Without wishing to compare him to anyone else, Lionel Messi [at 5'7"] is not the biggest player in size and we have all seen what he has done."

Neymar will move to Camp Nou for a reported £50m.
