Barcelona's club secretary Susana Monje reveals that the club will have €50m to spend on players during the summer.

Barcelona will have around €50m to spend on players during the summer, according to club secretary Susana Monje.

The Spanish and European champions have recently been linked with moves for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale and Santos striker Neymar.

While €50m rules out a double swoop, it could be enough to tempt one of those players to the Nou Camp.

"We will have about €50 million for transfers," Monje told Mundo Deportivo. "The figure is very competitive compared to other clubs and in the future it will only increase, but we must use it wisely."

Barca take on Atletico Madrid tomorrow evening.
