Barcelona are reportedly lining up a summer move for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed an impressive 2021-22 campaign for Los Che, finding the back of the net on 12 occasions in 32 appearances in all competitions, in addition to contributing five assists.
Soler's contract at Mestalla is due to expire next June, though, and the club are allegedly currently finding it difficult to sign him to an extension.
According to Sport, Barcelona are keen to bring the Spain international to Camp Nou in the upcoming market, with the club's head coach Xavi a huge admirer of his talents.
The report claims that the Catalan outfit have already tried to sign Soler on two separate occasions, and Valencia would be open to selling him in the upcoming market if he does not agree a new deal at Mestalla.
The midfielder has scored 35 goals and registered 31 assists in 217 appearances for Los Che since making his first-team debut in 2016.
