Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has played down suggestions that he could be on his way out of Camp Nou during this summer's transfer window.
The Croatian's current deal with the Spanish champions is due to expire next June, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future over the last few months.
Rakitic has revealed that there has been no development in contract talks with Quique Setien's side, but the 32-year-old has said that he is not interested in an exit this summer.
"I spoke with the club 10-15 days ago, and the conclusion is there is I have no more to discuss at this stage," Rakitic told TPortal. "I have a contract until 2021, with an option until 2022, and Barcelona is where I want to be. I am confident I'll be here longer.
"Of course it is difficult not to play as regularly as you want, but I respect the decision of the coach, as football is a team game."
The 2018 World Cup finalist has made 31 appearances in all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign, although he has only started 10 of Barca's 27 La Liga matches.
