David Flitcroft: Barnsley "will come back stronger"

Barnsley manager David Flitcroft insists that his side will bounce back from their defeat to Bournemouth.

Barnsley boss David Flitcroft has insisted that his side will bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth.

In a tight encounter which was decided by Marc Pugh's second-half goal, Flitcroft was pleased with what he saw.

"We had a good first half and controlled the game. We kept going to the end. We'll get it right," he said, according to the club's official Twitter account.

"We'll dust ourselves down and I am certain we'll come back stronger."

The defeat leaves Barnsley in the relegation zone having played seven games so far this season.
