Half-Time Report: Derby County lead Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park

Derby County lead Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at half time in their Championship clash at Ewood Park.

Derby County have recovered from being 1-0 down early on to lead Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at half time in their Championship clash at Ewood Park this evening.

Blackburn Rovers got off to the perfect start when Ben Marshall's deflected 25-yard effort looped over Lee Grant in the Derby County goal to put the home side ahead inside the first minute.

However, their lead lasted just eight minutes as the in-form Jamie Ward levelled the game with a smart back-post finish from Craig Bryson's left-wing cross.

Will Hughes then put Derby County ahead with a neat left-footed finish from just inside the area on 37 minutes to complete the first-half turnaround.
