Stefan Effenberg tips Thomas Tuchel for Borussia Dortmund job

Stefan Effenberg believes that Thomas Tuchel is the only manager who can replace outgoing Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.

Stefan Effenberg has claimed that Thomas Tuchel is the obvious candidate to replace outgoing Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp.

Dortmund confirmed on Wednesday that Klopp, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City, will leave the club at the end of the season, and Effenberg expects Tuchel to be given the opportunity to fill the void at Signal Iduna Park.

"I am sure Dortmund will sign a coach who speaks German and knows the Bundesliga very well," the former Germany international told Sky. "Taking it all into account, it can only be Thomas Tuchel.

"He worked successfully, had a clear plan – also in Mainz - and I can easily imagine him at Dortmund."

Tuchel has been out of work since leaving Mainz last May.
