Harry Arter confident Bournemouth's fortunes will change

Bournemouth's Harry Arter insists that his side can recover from their slow start to the Premier League campaign.

Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has insisted that his team will recover from their poor start to the Premier League campaign.

The Cherries lie in 19th place in the table with four points on the board, but the 27-year-old believes that there were positives to build on from their recent performances against Everton and Leicester City.

"It was disappointing [not to win them] but you can take confidence from both of them games and, if you perform like that over 38 games, the points will start picking up," Arter told talkSPORT.

"We had periods like this last year. It is such a tough league, especially for the bottom-half clubs. If you don't get a result against a side that you expect yourself to then you know you are up against it when you are playing against the top sides.

"We have experienced this before and we all know how we are going to get out of it. The last two performances there have been good signs."

The Cherries are in Premier League action this weekend when they take on in-form Tottenham Hotspur away from home.
