Mark Warburton has said that poor defending cost Brentford during their 2-2 Championship draw against Nottingham Forest.
The Bees defence was undone by twice by long balls as Forest took a two-goal lead, before goals from Andre Gray and Jota rescued a point for the playoff hopefuls.
"It's a valuable point. Every point will be key come May 2. Points have been dropped and gained today," Warburton told Get West London.
"We dug ourselves into a hole. I haven't seen the stats but the only key ones are goals. From the first whistle we lacked a bit of quality in the final third.
"I was disappointed with the goals we conceded. Tyler Walker brought it down well and had a tremendous finish but that shouldn't happen. With the second goal, we need to get to the ball and stop that but then we got caught on the counter."
Brentford, who move out of the Championship playoff places with the result, travel to fifth-placed Derby County on Saturday.
