Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale will wear personalised gloves against Ipswich Town on Saturday to honour two of the victims of the Shoreham air crash.
The names of Worthing United footballers Jacob Schilt and Matt Grimstone, who was a member of Brighton's ground staff, will feature on Stockdale's gloves.
The keeper will also wear a shirt paying tribute to the duo while warming up.
"The squad is down in terms of what happened," Stockdale told BBC Sussex.
"It has been tough to concentrate, but now we have turned it into more of what we can do at the weekend to help, in terms of using a bit of strength they would like to think they are bringing to us from wherever they are."
Grimstone and Schilt were travelling to a Worthing United match on August 22 when an airplane from a nearby show crashed on to the A27. Eleven people are thought to have died.
