Blackpool and Cardiff played out a dour 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road as neither side could find a way through in the second half this afternoon.
The first half contained little incident as the two sides went in 0-0 at half-time but Cardiff quickly broke the deadlock.
Don Cowie stole in to bury a header from an Andrew Taylor cross in the 49th minute and give the Welsh side the lead.
However, Blackpool were not to be outdone as veteran Kevin Phillips scored with an effort from the edge of the box after 62 minutes.
