Celtic have agreed a deal to bring Derry City winger Michael Duffy to Parkhead, according to the League of Ireland Premier Division club.
The 20-year-old, who can also play as a striker, scored 15 times for the Candystripes as they finished as league runners-up last season.
Sean Barrett, the club's chief executive, is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "We have agreed a deal with Celtic for Michael Duffy.
"We thought it was dead in the water, then Celtic contacted at us to say they wanted to sign him. I believe Michael is discussing personal terms."
Duffy has been capped at U21 level for Northern Ireland.
