Didier Drogba is poised to hand Chelsea a huge fitness boost by declaring himself fit for their Champions League semi-final second-leg tie against Barcelona.
The Ivorian had been an injury doubt for Tuesday's clash at the Nou Camp after picking up a knee problem in Chelsea's 1-0 first-leg victory over the Catalan giants, where he scored the winning goal.
As a result, he missed the Blues 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday but is likely to return for European duty in midweek.
Should he be passed fit, Drogba will probably come back into the starting XI at the expense of Fernando Torres, who was goalless again against the Gunners.
