Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that he will whole-heartedly be supporting Bayern Munich in next weekend's Champions League final.
Redknapp's side finished the Premier League season sitting in the fourth and final Champions League spot but will not qualify for Europe's elite competition if Chelsea are victorious against Munich at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.
"It has been a fantastic season to finish fourth and in a Champions League place. It's been a magnificent season," Redknapp said after this afternoon's 2-0 triumph over Fulham.
"I'd be a liar if I stood here and said [that I didn't want Bayern Munich to beat Chelsea]. I want Tottenham to finish in the Champions League and it's now up to Bayern Munich to finish the job.
"What will be will be."
Redknapp added his thoughts on a spectacular final day of the season, describing the Premier League as "great".
"I thought Manchester United had won the title [but what happened was] just amazing. [City] have won it so good luck to them. I'm sure Sir Alex will look back and think the Everton game cost them. That's football, you do not have a divine right to beat anyone."
If Chelsea do win the Champions League final then Spurs will have to settle for a spot in the Europa League.
