Chelsea are reportedly close to finalising a deal to sign Marcos Alonso from Fiorentina.
The West London outfit have three days left to bring in any new players before the summer transfer window slams shut.
Manager Antonio Conte recently claimed that the club will "have a problem" trying to sign their targets.
However, according to Marca, a deal for Alonso is close to completion, with Chelsea offering €25m (£21.3m) to sign the 25-year-old, who joined the Italian club in 2013.
Alonso is familiar with English football having made 35 appearances for Bolton Wanderers between 2010 and 2013, and the left-back also had a short loan spell at Sunderland two years ago.
Chelsea have signed two players so far this summer - Michy Batshuayi and N'Golo Kante.
