Chelsea keep tabs on Barcelona star David Villa?

Chelsea reportedly keep an eye on David Villa's situation at Barcelona following reports that the Spanish giants may be willing to cash in on the Spain international.

Chelsea are reportedly preparing to launch a bid for Barcelona striker David Villa, who is believed to be unsettled at the Nou Camp.

The Spain international has been linked with a move away from the Spanish giants after failing to secure a regular spot in the team following his lengthy layoff with a broken leg.

Reports have claimed that the 30-year-old was involved in a bust-up with Argentina star Lionel Messi after their 2-1 defeat to Celtic in the Champions League on Wednesday, which has put Chelsea on red alert, according to the Daily Star.

It is believed that Barcelona could be willing to let the former Valencia frontman leave for the right price before he slips further down the rankings.
