Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of launching a £25 million bid for Barcelona's Sergio Busquets.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich is keen on the defensive midfielder and is willing to sanction a move at the end of the season, according to The Mirror.
It is believed that any move for the 24-year-old will not materialise until the summer due to Busquets being ineligible for the Champions League, should he move in January.
Busquets has seen his place in Barca's starting XI come under threat following the arrival of Alex Song from Arsenal in the summer.
