Agent of Atletico Madrid's Filipe Luis confirms interest from Chelsea

Filipe Luis's agent confirms that Chelsea are interested in signing the Atletico Madrid defender.

Filipe Luis's agent has confirmed that Chelsea are interested in signing the Atletico Madrid left-back this summer.

The West London outfit are said to be in talks with the Spanish champions regarding the possible transfer.

Luis's representative Manuel Garcia Quilon has confirmed that Jose Mourinho wants to sign the Brazilian, but Atletico would prefer to keep hold of the player.

"The interest [from Chelsea] is there, but Atletico do not want to sell," Garcia Quilon told Spanish newspaper AS. "It has been decided to keep most of the group together for next season. We will see what happens with different players, but the intention is not to sell anyone."

Chelsea have already reportedly agreed a deal to sign Atletico striker Diego Costa.
