Real Betis have reportedly made contact with Chelsea's Pedro as they attempt to sign the experienced attacker on a free transfer ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
The 32-year-old's current deal at Stamford Bridge is due to expire at the end of June, meaning that, as it stands, he will be available on a free transfer this summer.
Roma are said to be planning a move for Pedro, but according to Sport, Betis have also emerged as contenders for the Spaniard's signature.
The La Liga outfit managed to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon last summer and allegedly have big plans in the market, having established themselves as a top-flight side once again.
Pedro joined Chelsea from Barcelona in 2015 and has made 201 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, contributing 43 goals and 28 assists in the process.
The former Barca forward has only contributed two goals in 18 appearances this term, though, and does not appear to be in Frank Lampard's plans moving forward.
