Antonio Rudiger has reportedly once again made it clear to Chelsea that he is not currently interested in entering into contract discussions with the club.
The 28-year-old, who is with the Germany squad at Euro 2020, struggled for action in the first half of the 2020-21 campaign under Frank Lampard but was a key player for Thomas Tuchel following the change of management at Stamford Bridge.
Rudiger's current deal with the Blues is due to expire next year, and the Champions League holders are said to be keen to tie him down to a long-term contract.
However, according to Bild, the defender is still wary of what happened last season and wants to see how much football he receives in the first half of the 2021-22 campaign before making a decision.
As a result, the German is allegedly continuing to reject contract discussions with the club.
Tuchel's side are thought to be keen to sign a new centre-back this summer and have been strongly linked with Real Madrid's Raphael Varane.
