Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign Tammy Abraham?

Wolverhampton Wanderers are at the head of the queue to sign Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham, according to a report.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly at the head of the queue to sign Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham.

Abraham has fired 16 goals during a loan spell at Aston Villa this season, but the England international is expected to be recalled by Chelsea this month before moving on loan to a Premier League club.

According to the Daily Mail, Wolves lead the race for the 21-year-old as they look for a striker to compete with Raul Jimenez in the final third of the field.

Abraham's 16 Championship goals this season make him the joint-leading scorer in the second tier.

The attacker has previously played in the Premier League for both Chelsea and Swansea City, but only managed five league goals during a loan spell with the latter.

Abraham made his England debut against Germany in November 2018.
