Coventry City have signed Preston North End goalkeeper Jamie Jones on a 31-day emergency loan deal, with the option to extend it by a further two months.
The 25-year-old moved to Preston in the summer following a six-year spell with Leyton Orient.
However, the shot-stopper has found first-team action hard to come by at Deepdale this season.
"We spoke about the goalkeepers that were available," manager Steven Pressley told BBC Sport. "Jamie's name was at the top of our list and we've managed to move things along very quickly.
"He has fantastic League One experience. He was widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers at this level last season during Leyton Orient's impressive year."
Jones could make his Coventry debut on Saturday when the Sky Blues travel to Yeovil Town in the league.
