Derby County are said to have denied a report linking striker Johnny Russell with a January exit, just six months after he joined the Rams.
Russell was a summer signing from Dundee United and agreed a four-year deal with the Championship club.
However, he was brought to the club by Nigel Clough, who is now in charge of Sheffield United after being sacked and replaced by Steve McClaren.
According to the Derby Telegraph, the club have denied rumours that Clough might try to sign Russell for the Blades as he is struggling to start games under McClaren, who has guided Derby to six consecutive wins in the league.
