Fulham edge closer to the next round of the Europa League with a 4-1 win against Wisla Krakow at Craven Cottage.

Fulham have edged closer to the next stage of the Europa League with a 4-1 win at home to Wisla Krakow.

The hosts took the lead after four minutes when Damien Duff powerfully side-footed home from 12-yards after Andrew Johnson had picked him out in the area.

However, in a frantic opening half, Wisla were soon level when Andraz Kirm's shot was deflected past Mark Schwarzer in the Fulham goal.

The home side were back in front at the break after Johnson executed a stinging volley from inside the box which found the top corner.

The striker bagged his second of the night just before the hour when he chipped the ball over the Wisla keeper after a free kick.

Martin Jol's side completed the scoring with ten minutes to play when substitute Steve Sidwell smashed in the rebound after his own header had been tipped onto the crossbar.
