Gillingham midfielder Bradley Dack has said he is enjoying the playing style that has been introduced by interim manager Peter Taylor.
The 60-year-old took charge of the League One club last month, replacing Martin Allen.
Dack has said that he prefers Taylor's emphasis on passing the ball.
"Under Martin Allen, no disrespect to him, we were a bit more direct," Dack told BBC Radio Kent.
"Every footballer wants to try and play football the right way - which getting the ball down and passing it. To have someone who wants to play like that is a dream come true really.
"Martin Allen drilled into us what he wanted and it is hard to come out of that straight away. We have started to move the ball quicker. It is working and coming along, but it does take time."
Gillingham face Brackley Town in the FA Cup on Saturday.
