Leeds United are leading Peterborough United at half-time thanks to a Luciano Becchio strike.
Leeds got off to a bright start, with Ross McCormack testing home goalkeeper Robert Olejnik with an early free kick following a foul on Becchio.
It was Becchio who gave the home side the lead on seven minutes, finding space inside the box to pick up a Luke Varney pass and fire into the bottom corner.
Leeds almost doubled their advantage on 27 minutes when McCormack whipped in an inviting cross for the Argentine, but his header flew over the bar.
Neil Warnock's men remained in the ascendency until the half-time whistle, with Becchio's goal remaining the difference between the sides at the break.
