Leeds United captain Sol Bamba has left the club by mutual consent due to personal reasons.
The centre-back made 56 appearances for the Yorkshire side after signing from Italian Serie A outfit Palermo on an initial loan deal in January 2015.
Bamba, who was originally under contract until next summer, had not featured in the Championship club's last three league matches.
In a statement, United said: "The club would like to thank Sol for his contribution throughout his time here and wish him the very best of luck for the future."
The 31-year-old started his career at Paris Saint-Germain, and had spells with Hibernian, Dunfermline, Leicester City and Trabzonspor before joining Palermo in August 2014.
