Half-Time Report: Jamie Vardy, Marc Albrighton put Leicester City ahead

Jamie Vardy and Marc Albrighton give Leicester City a 2-0 half-time lead over Queens Park Rangers.

Leicester City are on course to finish their season on a high as they lead Queens Park Rangers 2-0 at half time.

The hosts got off to a fast start as Leonardo Ulloa and Jamie Vardy went close to scoring in the opening five minutes, while the visitors struggled to match their intensity.

Vardy only had to wait until the 16th minute to break the deadlock as he capitalised on an error from Rangers keeper Alex McCarthy to smash the ball in from close range.

The Foxes dominated most of the half, as Ulloa and Vardy missed further chances before Marc Albrighton doubled their lead.

Jeffrey Schlupp's cross fell to the winger on the edge of the box, and he lashed it into the back of the net.
