Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has hailed Diogo Jota as "unstoppable" after the Portuguese's brace against Leicester City on Thursday.
The ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers man bagged his 16th and 17th goals of the season in all competitions to propel the Reds to a 2-0 win at Anfield - his 11th and 12th in the current Premier League season.
Liverpool have now closed the gap on Manchester City back to nine points at the top of the table with a game in hand, and Robertson could not speak highly enough of his teammate after the full-time whistle.
"He [Diogo] is unstoppable just now," Robertson told BT Sport. "It was never comfortable but we took our chances at the right time. We felt we were in control - Diogo put two away.
"When you have people playing like Diogo Jota playing with that confidence you always believe they can score goals.
"We've just got to look after ourselves - we are still in four competitions - all we can do is keep putting pressure on City. It was an important win for us, a clean sheet and two goals. We move on now."
The Reds now prepare to travel to Turf Moor to meet Burnley on Sunday before the first leg of their Champions League last-16 battle with Inter Milan next week.
