Danny Ings has claimed that it will be "perfect" to work under manager Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.
The striker was officially unveiled as a Reds player on Wednesday after agreeing to join the club from Burnley last month.
Ings, 22, believes that Rodgers's track record of developing young players is what he needs at this stage of his career.
"He's fantastic at developing young players," he told the club's official website. "For a player like me, I think it will be perfect to work with him; I'm really looking forward to getting that relationship with him and the rest of the coaches and the players as well. It's something I'm really excited to do."
Ings scored 11 goals in 37 appearances for Burnley last season.
