Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard hailed his teammates following the club's 3-0 victory over Everton on Tuesday.
Gerrard struck all three goals in the comfortable win, and he was particularly keen to share the credit with his teammates.
"To beat Everton is always special, so to get three goals is a little bit extra. But I have to give my teammates a special mention, especially Luis Suarez who put two goals on a plate for me," the 31-year-old told Sky Sports News.
"It was a great team performance, a clean sheet. Everything we wanted from the game we got it."
Gerrard has scored eight goals in 20 games for Liverpool this season.
