Adam Lallana: 'There's more to come from me next season'

Liverpool's Adam Lallana says that he has "more to give" next season after a largely frustrating debut campaign at Anfield.

Adam Lallana has stated that there is more to come from him next season after reflecting on a largely frustrating debut campaign at Liverpool.

The England international moved from Southampton for around £25m last summer, but has struggled to build up momentum after seeing his season blighted by a number of injuries.

Lallana was part of the Reds side that beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 on Saturday, and the former Saints skipper said that he plans to stay injury free next term.

Lallana told the club's official website: "There's definitely more for me to give next season.

"I'll be looking to be out on the pitch more consistently because it's been difficult for me to get 100% into my rhythm this year, from being on the pitch and then off it.

"It was a bit of a cagey game. They're scrapping for their lives at the bottom at the minute."

Liverpool travel to Chelsea next week.
