Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that the squad at his disposal has the ability to change the "momentum" of a game.
The Merseyside outfit were able to come from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
"For the first two years we didn't have the possibility to change the momentum of a game - this year we plainly do," Sky Sports News quotes Rodgers as saying.
"It's so important in the modern game to have a bench that can come on and affect the game. That happened, which was great."
This week, Liverpool will turn their attention to the Europa League when they take on Besiktas in the last 32.
