Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has hinted that he could leave the Anfield club after revealing that contract negotiations have gone "very quiet".
The England right-back will be available as a Bosman in the summer but can agree terms with a foreign club as early as January 1.
Johnson is said to have been offered a one-year extension earlier this year, but the player himself is reported to be keen on a longer deal.
Asked what the state of play was, the 30-year-old said: "Very quiet," he told the Guardian.
"I am just concentrating week by week and not thinking about it. Of course I want to stay but, like I say, I worry about this week, this week, and then next week, next week. That is how I live my life."
The 30-year-old has clocked up 175 appearances for the Reds since joining from Portsmouth in 2009.
