Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle to sign Hoffenheim striker Roberto Firmino, according to reports.
The 23-year-old had been linked with Manchester United in recent weeks following a fine season in Germany which also saw him break into the Brazil national squad.
According to Sky Sports News, however, Firmino has rejected the Red Devils and is expected to sign a contract at Anfield in the next 24 hours.
In addition, BBC Sport claims that Reds chief executive Ian Ayre has flown out to Chile, where Firmino's Brazil squad are contesting the Copa America, to seal the deal.
Liverpool have already signed Burnley striker Danny Ings in the close-season, while Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez and James Milner have also been brought in.
