Atletico Madrid have reportedly decided not to offer goalkeeper Jan Oblak a new contract during the summer.
Since moving to the La Liga giants in 2014, Oblak has made 156 appearances in all competitions and is now regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in European football.
However, according to talkSPORT, Atletico do not intend to fight off any alleged interest in the Slovenian's signature with an offer of a fresh deal.
Liverpool are among the clubs said to be keen on the 25-year-old, but Atletico are confident that the Merseyside giants will not look to activate the player's £87.5m release clause.
Oblak also has just over three years remaining on his current contract, meaning that Atletico do not have to consider selling the stopper ahead of the next campaign.
